Jaci's Safari Lodge is beautifully set in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa's North West Province which covers an vast region of 75,000 hectares.
Guest staying at the Jaci's Safari Lodge in Madikwe have the unique opportunity to observe the rare Wild Dog, both Black and White Rhino, extensive plains game, including Sable, Gemsbok, Springbok and Giraffe, as well as over 340 species of birds. By plane, the Jaci's Lodge is only a short 45-minute flight from Gauteng. Alternatively visitors may reach, after a scenic 3,5 hour drive from Gauteng ( Johannesburg / Pretoria) the entrance of the Madikwe Game Reserve. Children of all ages are welcome at Jaci's Game Lodge in Madikwe.
The Jaci's Game Lodge has been built around an ancient termite mound overlooking an established and well used water hole, under a grove of Tamboti trees, on the edge of the Marico River.
The main lodge is unique, open plan, curved around a ancient termite mound, under shady trees overlooking the water hole and on the banks of the Marico River.
Meals are prepared in a modern kitchen, in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in the bush on a "braai", surrounded by nature.
Jaci's Safari Lodge features a fully equipped gym, overlooking the river, which is situated between Jaci's Safari Lodge and Jaci's Tree Lodge.
Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, guests are invited to take a refreshing swim in the swimming pool overlooking the river. One may lie in a hammock, sip an ice-cold drink, watch the birds, the butterflies and beasts, relax, unwind.

The Jaci's Game Lodge features only 8 rooms and 2 exclusive family suites, which are the Nare Suite and the Safari Suite. Utilizing a unique combination of stone, canvas and shaggy thatch roves creates a true safari atmosphere, inviting guests to enjoy the untamed African bush surroundings.
Early risers may catch a glimpse of Bush Babies returning to roost in the trees around the rooms or enjoy the morning Francolin add a space here pleasecalls. The generous Main Lodge at Jaci's Game Lodge consists of a spacious lounge and open plan dining area with uninterrupted views of the surrounding bushveld.
The Nare Suite - family suite
The Nare Suite is an exclusive bush retreat. The resident Buffalo Bull frequents the waterhole in front of the Suite along with the numerous other animal visitors. This spacious and luxurious suite accommodates a maximum of 4 to 6 guests in tranquillity and ultimate privacy.
The Nare Suite bedrooms each have open plan bathrooms, with a hand made "rock" bath and outdoor "safari" shower. An upstairs loft room is ideal for children and features its own toilet. A wooden viewing deck overlooks a fabulous water hole and encompasses a private swimming pool.
The lounge and outdoor dining area of the Nare Suite at Jaci's Lodge is equipped with a self-contained kitchen where, upon request, the chefs prepare meals in the luxury of the guests retreat. Equipped with a private game vehicle and professional guide guests are assured of a bush breakaway to be remembered and repeated.
The Safari Suite - family suite
The Safari Suite at Jaci's Game Lodge in Madikwe features 2 double bedrooms and 2 children's rooms and is therefore ideal for families. Beautifully positioned overlooking the Marico River with a private swimming pool and wrap around decks, the newest addition to Jaci's Safari Lodge is a must for families wanting to stay in close proximity to each other but not necessarily in the same room.
With Jaci's trademark shaggy thatch roof's, and sliding doors and canvas all opening to the magnificent views, guests may enjoy the privacy afforded by the Safari Suite whilst enjoying the privilege of planning their own itinerary.
