Fancourt's Garden Suites and Studios provide guests with the opportunity to rest in a peaceful garden and golf course setting. Depending on the guests specific requirements, one may choose from the Garden Studios or the one, two or three-bedroom Garden Suites.
The Fancourt Manor House: hotel rooms and suites
At the Fancourt Manor House, guests find a restful haven in a building with a history dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. The Manor House at Fancourt is a National Monument. Its 34 bedrooms are situated in a wooded parkland and is the perfect base for guest's leisure.

Dining
The Fancourt Hotel has six restaurants offering a variety of excellent dining experiences in authentic settings.
The Morning Glory Restaurant overlooks the 1st tee of the Outeniqua Golf Course and serves light healthy meals using fresh local ingredients.
La Cantina is located in Fancourt's historic Manor House and serves a buffet breakfast, as well as traditional Italian cuisine in a warm Mediterranean atmosphere.
Sansibar, situated in the Manor House serves modern African cuisine representative of a host of African countries. A special treat is to hear the Sansibar choir break into impromptu song in the evening - it's something you'll remember for a long time to come.
Le Pêcheur, situated in the main clubhouse specialises in freshly prepared seafood dishes in a relaxed setting and also has its own Sushi Bar, offering an extensive range including Nigiri, Maki and Sashimi.
The Grill Room is situated adjacent to Le Pêcheur. It has a grill room atmosphere and offers the best steaks in town!
Links Lodge is located next to The Links Clubhouse and offers relaxed intimate dining. A highly acclaimed restaurant, their speciality is World Fusion cuisine i.e. a combination of flavours from around the world.
Golf Courses at the Fancourt Golf Estate in George
The Fancourt Estate in George, Garden Route, is one of South Africa's premier golf resorts, featuring three highly rated Championship golf courses as well as the Western Cape's premier 18-hole public course.
Fancourt's Outeniqua and Montagu golf courses rank amongst the finest 18-hole parkland layouts in South Africa. A round on either is a special experience, sculpted and finished as they are with rare attention to detail and designed with the coastal George winds in mind.
The Links at Fancourt was added in 2000, an awe-inspiring example of magnificent design and golf-course construction designed by Gary Player .
Bramble Hill was added, a course that is distinctly Fancourt, yet has a friendly character all of its own. It is a course that can be tackled by beginner and seasoned campaigner alike, without the intimidation and pressure so often associated with celebrated championship courses.
In addition to four golf courses suited to every type of golfer, Fancourt is home to one of the finest golf academies in the world, with state-of-the-art practice and teaching facilities, backed up by the expertise of PGA professionals, as well as several well-stocked on-course pro shops offering all types of golf merchandise
The Montague Golf Course at Fancourt
The Montagu Golf Course at the Fancourt Estate in George is a much celebrated parkland course and has been ranked as the number-one golf course in South Africa in the past. It has recently undergone major renovations with several holes being redesigned and has two completely new holes - the 1st and the 9th.
The warm-up area, featuring a full-length range and a chipping and bunker practice area, is available to all golfers before play. Golf carts for the Montague golf course are available for hire, weather permitting, while knowledgeable caddies are available too.
The Outeniqua Golf Course at the Fancourt Hotel
The Outeniqua is one of two majestic 18-hole Parkland layouts at Fancourt. Designed by legendary Grand Slam golfer Gary Player, it is similar in character to its sibling The Montagu, and its challenging design and fine conditioning will ensure an excellent test for all levels of golfers. As with all courses at Fancourt, there are a variety of tees from which to choose to play, ensuring that golfers are unlikely to ever feel overpowered by the course. Golf carts are available for hire , weather permitting, while knowledgeable caddies are available too.
The Links Golf Course at the Fancourt Golf & Spa Resort
The Links at Fancourt is one of the most impressive golf courses when it comes to golf design and construction ever in South Africa. Gary Player's design team spent months studying the classic links courses of Scotland and Ireland and then, armed with inspiration from the best that those countries had to offer, embarked on the ambitious task of recreating some of their finest holes to make a genuine links test on what was once an airfield.
The result is awe-inspiring and has elicited praise from some of the world's finest golfers - The Links was the host venue for the 2003 Presidents Cup, which ended in an historic tie after a dramatic play-off between Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. In early 2005, it was the host venue for the Women's World Cup of Golf, which was won by the diminutive duo of Rui Kitada and Ai Miyzato of Japan. In December 2005 The Links hosted the SAA Open, the world's second-oldest national Open Championship.

The Bramble Hill Golf Course
Bramble Hill is the fourth course at Fancourt, but it has a character all of its own. Built in response to a need for an 18-hole facility that would be accessible to the community of George and surrounding areas, Bramble Hill is truly a public golf course in the sense that there are no restrictions on who can play at any given time.
Unique to South African layouts, Bramble Hill has a fun "practice hole" between the 10th and 11th holes, which is a character-filled little par three where golfers are given a respite from the concentration of the round - or it is a place to have a little mid-game wager with your playing partners.
In keeping with Fancourt, Bramble Hill features a modern, facility rich clubhouse, as well as a well-stocked pro shop, with a wide range of competitively priced golf merchandise. On hand to offer expert advice are a number of resident PGA professionals.
The Fancourt Golf Academy
The Golf Academy at Fancourt is a superb facility and has full-time teaching professionals to offer expert advice and tuition. Situated between The Links and Bramble Hill courses and easily accessible to Fancourt residents and guests, the Academy is the perfect place to improve your golf.
Full-time resident teaching professionals provide advice and instruction backed up by the latest technology and video equipment in the studio room. Special tuition rates are always available and the professionals welcome groups, juniors or individual lessons.
